(B)EST Coast Jam 2011 PDF Print E-mail

This year the guys from the West Coast from SFPK are stepping up their game.  They are planing on having a Jam to rival the long standing jam on the East Coast the well known and loved (B)East Coast Jam.  We here at APK wish them the best of luck and hope to see every one there.  Click Read More to see the Natioan Calendar Page for the jam.

Title: (B)EST COAST: San Francisco Parkour National Jam 2011

Location: San Francisco

Date: June 17-19, 2011

Schedule:

The general idea we have is something like this:

Friday June 17: Satellite Jams. Various communities around the Bay and Northern California will be encouraged to hold jams in their areas and invite our visitors to their stomping grounds.

Saturday June 18: Jam in either SF or East Bay, utilizing several different locations. Will begin around 10AM and end around 5PM, or whenever you drop.

Sunday June 19: Jam in either SF or East Bay same as Saturday; each day will feature several locations separated by short drives (no bridges!)
The Sunday jam will also run something like 10AM-5PM, then afterwards there will be some kind of big fun gathering. The idea Albert and I had was a "DIY Carnival" where we bring all the crazy things traceurs like: unicycles, stilts, things to juggle, slack lines, etc. Then people can play with everything, and/or teach each other those or other skills (yoga, wrestling, etc. etc. etc.)

Housing:  Plan on being able to stay with local Traceurs.  But please post on the forum to be sure of having a spot if you plan on coming.

Contact Info:  Info yet to come please keep an eye on the forum.  Or send a PM to Brett or Corndogg for contact information.
