International Parkour Day 2011 PDF Print E-mail

About three years ago APK began National Parkour Day on the first Saturday in June. It has grown to become International Parkour Day!

This year we are asking communities to make a short video/documentary during this day to encourage others about Leaving No Trace. Post them on APK or send them to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

This year's theme is "Everyday is Leave No Trace day." Meaning that no matter what environment we are training in, we should always be conscious of being respectful and responsible in the area.

Here are some ideas, and let us know how you Leave No Trace when you train!
1. Always keep an extra plastic bag for an unexpected training session
2. Throw away your trash
3. Leave the area nicer than when you began training
4. Respect authorities: there are TONs of other places to train, find a new one!
