DC Fit Crasher

DC Fitcrasher

DC Fit crasher stopped by the APK Academy in Washington DC the other day. Everyone really enjoyed meeting Meaghan and teaching her a little parkour.

For those of you who don't know DC Fit Crasher is a blog based in Washington, DC where Meaghan chronicles here journey trying every work out in Washington DC! She's done boxing, cross fit, and loads of other reviews.

She really liked the attitude that many traceurs pride themselves on saying,  "There was always someone willing to demonstrate a move, explain a technique, or offer a high-five after a successful attempt. Even more importantly, the instructors were extremely engaged and I never at any point felt like I was in danger, despite my constant fear of breaking a leg or faceplanting on the floor. Kudos to everyone in the class for making this total newbie feel like part of the crew."

Movement Connections Park Featured on Univision!

This piece is for our Spanish speaking traceur friends around the world. It was a piece done by Univision in Arizona and showcases Movement Connections Parkour Park.

“The Movement Connections Parkour Park started as small labor of love. Francesco Caban dreamed up the idea after a training session. Thanks to his hard work and dedication, the park is now up and running as a community project. Community members pool their money together to build all the cool things to play on. Anyone over the age of 18 can sign a waiver and go out to play. Want to check it out? Get details like the park's address and it’s open hours on the Facebook page."
